A Visit to Schuppen Eins
Classic car in Bremen’s Überseestadt

On a cold Sunday afternoon, we made our way to Schuppen Eins, a unique cultural monument to Bremen’s port history.
This listed piece of industrial architecture houses the “Center for Automotive Culture and Mobility,” providing an ideal setting for the theme of historic automobiles.
Right on the Europahafen in the Überseestadt, a one-of-a-kind place has been created.
Visitors can marvel at a wide variety of classic and enthusiasts’ vehicles from different eras. Particular emphasis is placed on German vehicles from the 1930s to the 1980s, but British and American classics are also represented. In addition, mopeds and motorcycles from various decades can be seen.
Also particularly interesting is the view into the glass-fronted workshops, where classic cars are currently being restored.
The exhibits are very close together, and it is difficult to show individual ones in isolation. That’s why, in my photography, I focused on smaller details.
